When a woman is talking to you, listen to what she says with her eyes.
– Victor Hugo (via giovannafalcone1) Via Gi's WorldI am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; I will not refuse to do the something I can do. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature…
–— Helen Keller
Art saved me; it got me through my depression and self-loathing, back to a place of innocence.
– Jeanette WintersonCome not, when I am dead,
To drop thy foolish tears upon my grave,
To trample round my fallen head,
And vex the unhappy dust thou wouldst not save.
There let the wind sweep and the plover cry;
But thou, go by.
This first part of Lord Alfred Tennyson’s poem has always haunted me ….
New beginning…
Life in a new city…Away from home—alone—-for the first time. Insignificant stuff that one never bothered about at home suddenly seems to take on a daunting aspect…the beginning of a new, independent existence…
Studies and assignments…Group discussions and lab-meets…
Friends…Mess food (!!!)…Late night strolls and heart-to-heart chats…Cultural events and parties…
Without any doubt, this is the best thing that can ever happen to anyone…
Anyone who comes out of this phase of life changes drastically — numerous facets are added to his personality… That in itself is exhilarating….

( Well that about sums up the last month of my life…Though figuring out a person’s nature is not an easy task, some people seem to make that job particularly difficult…God !! )

Here’s one of thousands of photos i’ve got from the old days. This must have been around the Wonderland album judging by purple haired Dougie with lip ring.

That though the radiance which was once so bright be now forever taken from my sight. Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, glory in the flower. We will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind.
– William WordsworthFor once, then, something…..
Others taught me with having knelt at well-curbs
Always wrong to the light, so never seeing
Deeper down in the well than where the water
Gives me back in shining surface picture
Me myself in the summer heaven godlike
Looking out of a wreath of fern and cloud puffs.
Once, when trying with chin against a well-curb,
I discerned, as I thought beyond the picture,
Through the picture, a something white, uncertain,
Something more of depths — and then I lost it.
Water came to rebuke the too clear water…
One drop fell from a fern, and lo, a ripple
Shook whatever it was lay there at bottom,
Blurred it, blotted it out. What was that whiteness ?
Truth? A pebble of quartz? For once, then, something….

one weird gif…..

Now why would someone make something so gory ??
Extremely disturbing (according to me)…..
